Fishing

We're just down the road from Lake of the Prairies - Western Canada's Walleye Factory.
Right in the Town of Roblin, we have the Goose Lakes. These form a Rainbow and Brown Trout Fishery of world class stature. East Goose Lake hosts trout over 30 inches! See also FLIPPR for more fly fishing information.

Snowmobiling

Besides Ice fishing we have no less than 700 miles of groomed trails throughout the region.

Horseback Riding

With several ranches to visit, you can ride into the sunset!

Golfing

Your choice of courses. Roblin, Madge Lake, Prairie Lake Lodge and Gilbert Plains Country Club are all prominent and well known courses.

Sightseeing

We are located just south of Duck Mountains and are the jumping off spot for Riding Mountain National Park as well. Enjoy fantastic scenery while living in comfort. Both have fantastic trails for mountain biking. Nearby is Skinners Arboretum, a historical collection of trees from around the world.

Canoeing Kayaking

Spring is the best time to enjoy fast waters on Parkland rivers, but canoeing and kayaking on the Parkland’s many lakes can be enjoyed anytime from spring to freeze-up.

Cycling

With many great trails to cycle on, you can explore and have fun!

Swimming

Besides lakes and beaches we have a swimming pool right in town - complete with a water slide.

Hunting

Besides Bears, we have an over population of White-tailed deer and Snow Geese. Our giant Canada Goose population is burgeoning and nearby sloughs and lakes are abundantly populated with ducks.

Skiing

World class X-Country skiing is just a few miles away at Rivendell
Plus Manitoba's Premier Downhill resort Asessippi Ski Area & Resort is just 15 minutes from Roblin.
